Mike Kenny has more than 15 years of financial advisory and management experience. In addition, he has practiced as a CPA at Ernst & Young and BDO Seidman. He has an extensive background in the preparation and evaluation of financial projections and plans, interim financial management and profitability improvement, and evaluation of working capital and cash-flow needs for distressed companies.

Prior to joining Crowe, Mr. Kenny worked as a financial consultant for several middle-market companies in various industries including consumer products, food and beverage, and professional services. These efforts included developing credible financial reports and projections, increasing available cash through balance sheet management, improving product margins and reducing overhead expenses, plus identifying and eliminating unprofitable operations. He also hired and trained personnel to manage the financial function at the end of engagements.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Kenny developed the financial planning function for a regional health insurance company, a privately held consumer products company, and a national travel organization. He has also served as the controller for service and manufacturing companies where he managed the companies' bank, vendor, and customer financial relationships.

Mr. Kenny holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration degree from Grand Valley State University. He is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
