Polancic, CPA, CIRASenior Manager bill.polancic@crowehorwath.com 312.899.7503 Bill Polancic has more than 20 years of experience in distressed company restructuring, mergers and acquisitions transaction services, and private industry management. Mr. Polancic’s experience includes the development of financial projections and other analysis to support cash collateral and debtor-in-possession financing requests, as well as the ongoing reporting and other services required in the bankruptcy proceedings of various entities. Mr. Polancic’s experience also includes the overall engagement management for a debtor-in-possession steel fabrication and erection company, financial advisory services provided to the creditors’ committee of a national retailer, and negotiations with lenders to establish asset-based collateral for Chapter 11 emergence financing. He was also responsible for the overall financial plan and operational improvement initiatives for the home furnishings business of a national retailer. Prior to joining Crowe Horwath LLP, Mr. Polancic worked in Grant Thornton LLP’s economic advisory services practice, and KPMG LLP’s corporate recovery services practice. Mr. Polancic holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting degree from St. Ambrose College and is a certified insolvency and restructuring advisor (CIRA). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois CPA Society, Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors, and the Turnaround Management Association. |
