David Stephenitch has more than 17 years of experience in corporate restructuring and mergers and acquisitions advisory services for clients in industries that include manufacturing, retail, distribution, consumer products, transportation, and financial services. He has worked with management, creditors, and investors of troubled companies to assess business viability, evaluate and develop restructuring alternatives, formulate and analyze business plans and cash flow forecasts, and prepare for and operate a business in bankruptcy. In addition, he has performed interim management services for distressed companies.

Prior to joining Crowe Horwath LLP, Mr. Stephenitch worked for KPMG LLP in its corporate recovery services and transaction services practices. He began his career as an auditor at KPMG and has experience in both corporate finance and business valuations.

Mr. Stephenitch holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Management degree with concentrations in Finance and Managerial Economics from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. Mr. Stephenitch is a certified insolvency and restructuring adviser (CIRA).
